Forget the political color, let it be what I think of this government .... and I give the floor to one thing: fear. The fear of death, a death evitabilissima, or worse yet a life ruined, and even of ruined lives, because it speaks of the whole nation.
This decision is' WRONG! It is not wrong because I do not trust nuclear power, we were in another country I would have been open to dialogue but not here. Here no, because there are thousands of unfinished works, not least bridge over the Straits, this colossal stupidity literally over the sea, with millions and millions of € cheated by contractors and the rest. And that is a bridge, not to mention the landfills that are destroying crap especially the south of Italy. These conditions are very bad for the construction of nuclear power. There is a second chance, there is no cure, no, there is only the utter devastation after something goes wrong. We are all seeing what happens in Japan. And speaking of Japan, one of the most advanced countries in the world, holder of a technology that we still dream of an organization and terrifying, people are ready for anything, make sure of them, full of experience in front of emergency ...
What would happen if a building in central Italy made a powerful earthquake happen just as that of L'Aquila? I will not even imagine.
I am not against science, on the contrary, but there are other ways. They are doing all about-turn, we have renewable energy, much more secure.
